Removing items from workflows
Remove a page or item from a workflow when participants no longer need to see it in that workflow.
note
Removing an item from a workflow does not delete the linked Library Item. The Question, Information, Content Block, or Contract remains available for other workflows unless it is hidden or changed separately.
Remove a workflow item
- Go to Setup > Workflows.
- Locate the workflow row, click ⋮ (vertical dots) to open the menu.
- Select Edit mode.
- Select the page item you want to remove.
- Review the linked Library Item and usage details in the Inspector.
- Remove the item from the workflow.
- Save the workflow.
Use this for Questions, Information, Content Blocks, and Contracts that should no longer appear in this workflow.
Remove a page
- Go to Setup > Workflows.
- Locate the workflow row, click ⋮ (vertical dots) to open the menu.
- Select Edit mode.
- Select the page you want to remove.
- Check the items on the page before removing it.
- Remove the page.
- Save the workflow.
note
Removing a page may also remove the page's items from that workflow. Check the page contents first, especially if the page contains required questions, contract items, or content used for compliance.
Hide an outdated Library Item
Hide a Library Item when it should no longer appear in normal Library searches.
- Open the Library Item from its setup area, or select it in the Workflow Builder if editing is available there.
- Set the item to hidden from lists.
- Save the Library Item.
- If the item is still linked to workflows, decide whether it should remain linked or be removed from those workflows.
Hidden Library Items may still appear in workflows that already use them. Use Review mode or the Library linked item indicator to find where the item is still used.
